Privacy Policy
The short version: the resume you write never reaches our servers. It is stored in your own browser and the PDF is produced there too. We only ever receive your email address, and only if you decide to pay.

Your resume stays in your browser
The builder runs entirely on your device. As you type, the draft is saved to your browser’s local storage so you can close the tab and come back to it. When you export, the PDF is generated in the page itself and handed to your browser as a download.
None of that content — your name, contact details, employment history, education or skills — is transmitted to EasyRezi at any point. We cannot read your resume, we hold no copy of it, and we could not produce one if asked. Clearing your browser data deletes the draft permanently, including for us.
What we do collect
There are exactly two things.
- Your email address, and your name if you give one — collected only when you start a checkout. We need it to create your account, unlock exports for it, and send you receipts and messages about your purchase.
- Usage analytics — which pages were opened, which buttons were used, and technical details your browser sends with every request: browser and operating system, screen size, the page that referred you, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This tells us which parts of the product work and which do not.
Analytics is deliberately kept away from the builder itself. The editor and the resume preview are excluded from capture, so no part of what you write is recorded even incidentally.
Payment details never reach us
Card numbers and billing details are entered on a page hosted by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, and are handled by them. We never see, process or store them.
What we receive back is a confirmation: which plan was bought, when, an identifier for the subscription, and the email address used. That is what your account is built from.
Cookies
We set no advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Analytics uses your browser’s local storage rather than cookies, and visitors stay anonymous in it unless they buy something.
Who else is involved
We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each receives only what its job requires.
- Vercel — serves the website. Processes request data such as IP addresses as part of delivering pages.
- Hetzner — hosts our application server and database, where accounts and purchase records live.
- PostHog — product analytics, as described above.
- Dodo Payments — takes payments and acts as merchant of record for the sale.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We would disclose information only where the law requires it.
How long we keep things
Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to retain proof of a sale. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Resume drafts are not ours to keep — they live in your browser until you clear them.
What you can ask for
Write to support@easyrezi.com and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- send you a copy of it,
- delete your account and the data attached to it.
We answer within 30 days. Deleting an account does not undo a completed purchase — see our refund policy for that.
Children
EasyRezi is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Continuing to use EasyRezi after a change means you accept the revised policy.
